Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in specified skill.
• Must pass a weld test before being hired.
• Must be certified as a welder.
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated components to assemble structural forms.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts; may bolt or rivet components as needed.
• Welds pipe and structural metal using arc, heliarc, gas, MIG, TIG processes.
• Adheres to procedures and quality checks under Foreman supervision.
