Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Combo Welder for a maintenance position in Pace, FL. The welder will lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, pipe and structural parts.

This is a non-exempt, on-site role reporting to the Foreman with specific procedures guiding daily work. Qualified candidates must have at least 4 years of welding experience, be certified as a welder, and pass a weld test.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of welding experience required.
• Must pass a weld test before hire.
• Must be certified as a welder.
• Pre-employment qualification test and post-offer drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and weld components to assemble tanks, vessels, pipes, and structural parts.
• Set up and operate welding equipment; weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Follow procedures and quality checks; work under supervision of Foreman.
