Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Combo Welder for a maintenance position in Pace, FL. The Welder will lay out, fit and weld fabrications including tanks, vessels, pipe and structural components for industrial sites.

Minimum four years of welding experience, welder certification, and ability to pass weld tests are required. Safety and pre-employment testing are part of the hiring process, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of welding experience and ability to pass a weld test.
• Must be certified as a welder and pass a pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation required.
• Adherence to client safety requirements and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components; bolts, clamps and tack welds as needed.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts; may bolt or rivet assemblies.
• Welds pipe and structural parts using arc, heliarc, gas, MIG or TIG processes.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening and reassembling parts.
• May cut materials with a cutting torch as part of fabrication.
