Job summary

Turner Industries in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking Combo Welders at Levels 1–3 to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components for tanks, vessels, pipes and structures. This on-site role requires the ability to operate multiple welding processes and follow project procedures under supervision.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–4 years of welding experience, pass weld tests, hold welder certification, and pass post-offer testing including drug screening, while complying

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of welding experience.
• Ability to pass weld test.
• Welder certification required.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy acceptance.
• Comply with job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a safety threat.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts.
• Welds pipe and structural materials by arc, heliarc, gas, MIG, TIG.
• May assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• May repair products by dismantling and reassembling.
