Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Combo Welder/Fitter for a full-time, temporary-to-hire position in Channelview, TX. The role involves fitting, fabricating, assembling, and welding structural steel for marine and heavy industrial applications, with emphasis on reading blueprints and achieving precise fit-up and high-quality welds.

• 2+ years experience as Combo Welder/Fitter in marine/industrial settings.
• Skilled in blueprint reading and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to pass hands-on weld and fit tests.
• Willing to work in various positions and environments.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints to layout and assemble structural steel.
• Measure and fit steel plates and fabricated parts using tools and hoists.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning.
• Perform welding using SMAW, FCAW, and Aluminum processes.
• Weld in multiple positions and ensure weld quality and fit-up.
• Maintain welding equipment and uphold safety standards.
