GrayWolf Industrial, Inc. is seeking a skilled Combo Pipe Welder for a 10-day outage in Perdue Hill, Alabama starting September 13, 2026.

You will lay out, align, and weld piping systems and related components using stick, MIG, TIG, and flux-core processes across multiple positions. Candidates must read blueprints, interpret plans, and securely fasten pipes to structures while working up to 12 hours in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Use stick, MIG, TIG, and flux core welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and plans to lay out, position, align, and secure parts.

• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions using stick, MIG, TIG, and flux-core.
• Secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangers; install per layout.

SUMMARY:

Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, Weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plates, pipes, and tube or structural shapes, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment. Plan installation or repair to avoid obstructions and avoid interfering with the activities of other workers. Secure pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools. Weld in any direction – flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Must be able to read and interpret prints and plans
• Must be able to weld both carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
• Use stick, MIG, TIG, and flux core welding techniques to weld various components in varying positions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years proven experience
• OSHA 10 preferred , AWS certified preferred
• High School Diploma / GED
• Must have locking tool box and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent withage.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outsideconditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, andscaffolds.
• PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required. This job site requires long sleeves
