Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction is seeking Combo Pipe Welders for our Morgan City, LA site. The role involves laying out, positioning, and welding metal components such as piping systems and plates to approved drawings and work orders.

You will read blueprints, plan installations to avoid obstructions, and weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. OSHA 10 and AWS certification preferred; candidates must pass a 6g weld test and bring your own tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pipe combo welding in an industrial construction setting.
• OSHA 10 and AWS certification preferred.
• Must have locking tool box and tools to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Layout, align, and weld piping systems per prints and specs.
• Plan installations to avoid obstructions and interference with others.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Read and interpret prints and plans.
• Operate hand, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools safely; follow QA expectations.
