Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking a Combo Pipe Welder for a six-week assignment in Apple Grove, WV. The role requires hands-on welding of piping systems and structural components, reading prints, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a start-up pay rate of up to $36 per hour plus a $120 daily per diem, with 60 hours per week and a six-week duration. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) with matching, vacation, holidays, and opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Combo Pipe Welding in an industrial setting is preferred.
• OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided).
• Must be able to weld and pass qualification test coupons during pre-employment test.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies before assembly
• Weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plates, pipe, and tube or structural shapes, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment
• Plan installation or repair to avoid obstructions and avoid interfering with the activities of other workers
• Secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools
• Weld in any direction – flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
