Job summary

The Systems Group in HertfordShutdown – Ahoskie, NC is seeking a Combo Pipe Welder to support our field operations. You will be responsible for layout, alignment, and welding of piping systems and related components in an industrial setting, following blueprints and work orders.

This is a hands-on role requiring precise welding in various positions and adherence to safety protocols. You must read prints, interpret plans, and use basic math to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with combo pipe welding in an industrial setting.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and welding qualification coupons.
• Able to read prints and plans and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies.
• Weld components of piping systems, plates, pipe, and tube per blueprints or work orders.
• Plan installations to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other workers.
• Secure pipes to structures using brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
