Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking a Pipefitter in Apple Grove, WV to read blueprints, lay out pipe sizes, and fabricate systems per print. You will fit tees, 90s, and offsets, and plan installations to avoid obstacles across a large facility footprint.

Responsibilities include cutting, threading, bending, mounting hangers, and assembling pipes with safety as a priority. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and lay out pipe sizes per print.
• Identify obstructions and plan sequencing to avoid delays.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe using specified tools.
• Mount hangers and install pipe fittings.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Select pipe types and fittings per specs.
• Inspect site for obstructions.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid conflicts.
• Cut pipe with reciprocating saw, pipe cutter, torch or machine.
• Thread pipe using threading machine.
• Bend pipe by hand or with bending tools.
• Mount pipe hangers/brackets to hold pipe.
• Assemble and install pipes and fittings.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets/clamps.
• Maintain tools and comply with safety rules.
