Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking an energetic Pipefitter to join our Ahoskie, NC shutdown project. The role focuses on addressing day-to-day issues while contributing to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to read safety warnings, and proficient with pipe fitting tasks. Pay is up to $32/hour with a $120/day per diem; typical shift is 6/10’s for a 9-day duration.

Qualifications

• Pipefitting in an industrial setting preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• OSHA-approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided).

Responsibilities

• Selects pipe type and size and related materials per specs.
• Inspects worksite for obstructions and plans installation sequence.
• Cuts, threads, and assembles pipes and fittings using hand tools and machines.
• Mounts pipe hangers and brackets and secures pipes to structures.
• Performs routine maintenance and complies with safety policies.
