Job summary

CNH Industrial Group is offering a Product Engineering Intern position in New Holland, PA to support the Combine Harvesting team. The role provides hands‑on experience in design, testing, and manufacturing activities alongside experienced engineers.

Interns work full‑time during the summer (May–August) and must be actively enrolled in an engineering degree. Training, mentorship, and housing support are part of the program, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office products.
• Available to travel to field test sites, as required.
• CAD experience (CREO preferred).
• Experience with large agricultural equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete designs, layouts, and drawings for assigned elements of products under development or improvement, aligned with project plans and objectives.
• Apply engineering methods considering manufacturing processes, safety standards, and regulations to create cost‑effective designs.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine part sizes, strengths, and resolve design issues.
• Support prototype builds, prepare work orders, parts lists, and engineering change requests; assist with lab and field testing.
• Travel to plants, supplier facilities, and field test locations to troubleshoot issues and gain product knowledge.
• Learn and apply CNH engineering standards and CAD tools (CREO) and TeamCenter BOM for data management.
