Job summary

CNH Industrial invites applications for the Cotton Harvesting Engineering Intern role within the Case IH Cotton Engineering team. You will gain hands-on experience in design, modeling, prototype builds, and lab testing of subsystems for cotton harvesters while contributing to real-world product improvements.

This full-time summer internship (May–August) is for enrolled college students pursuing Agricultural and Biological or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Currently enrolled as a college student pursuing a degree.
• Will participate in the internship during summer (May–August) and work full-time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, layouts, and drawings for product elements under development or improvement.
• Apply engineering techniques considering manufacturing, safety, and environmental standards to produce cost-effective designs.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine part sizes, strengths, and solve design challenges.
• Support prototype builds, draft change requests, requisitions, work orders, parts lists, and test requests.
• Assist with laboratory and product evaluations to validate design performance.
• Learn and apply CNH engineering standards, ISO procedures, and work instructions.
• Gain proficiency in CAD (Pro-E) and engineering data management systems.
