Job summary

Minburn Communications seeks an experienced installer to ensure customers stay connected. You’ll install and maintain fiber optic systems, perform ONT installations, and support infrastructure projects in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

With at least 5 years in the field and an associate degree or equivalent training, you’ll work on diverse tasks and maintain accurate records. This on-site role includes on-call duties and a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or applicable training in telecommunications or related field.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Computer literacy including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and our industry’s billing.
• Knowledge of testing, switching, and electronic equipment, and all types of cable.
• Familiarity with cable records, staking sheets, specifications, and circuit diagrams.
• Understanding of digital technology and preventive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fiber optic systems.
• Perform ONT installations, inside wiring, and multi-line system setups.
• Locate, splice, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Operate construction equipment and support infrastructure projects.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
