Job summary

The AZEK Company’s TimberTech Wilmington division is seeking a Combi Lift Driver / Operator for the Prairie Avenue facility. You will ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines and assist with loading/unloading, daily inspections, and safe operation of forklifts in a fast-paced plant.

Eligible for a $3,000 bonus, with $1,500 paid at 3 months and another $1,500 at 6 months. This on-site role requires high school diploma and the ability to work a 2/2/3 schedule in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of operating Combi Lift.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
• Meet qualification and certification requirements established by TRAK.
• Demonstrated understanding of how process equipment works.
• Strong decision making, analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-directed, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Physical ability to push/pull/lift 10–100 lbs and stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to accident-free operations and comply with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Inspect forklifts daily to ensure safe operation.
• Identify raw materials and supplies needed for daily production.
• Ensure operators and assistants receive needed materials promptly.
• Monitor silo readings to maintain material availability for production.
• Assist or perform loading/unloading of trucks.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of grinders when needed.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and transport with forklift.
• Load regrind and transport to designated areas.
• Wrap and band finished material and move to designated areas.
• Count, weigh, and record units moved as required.
• Communicate daily issues to team members and leads.
• Fill propane tanks for forklifts as needed.
