Job summary

The AZEK Company/Timbertech Wilmington division is seeking Extrusion Operators for the Rail department. If you are a high-energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities include set-ups, color changes, quality checks and operating extrusion equipment to meet production specifications. 6:45AM to 7PM, 2/2/3 schedule, with a $3,000 bonus paid at milestones.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of how process equipment works.
• Strong decision making and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Assists with set-ups, start-ups, color changes, die changes and shutdowns on equipment.
• Learns and operates extrusion and downstream equipment.
• Monitors adjustments and communicates issues to lead operators.
• Completes production operator reports and quality checks.
• Identifies defects and initiates work orders for repairs.
• Adheres to Bills of Process (BOP) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) standards.
• Assists in packaging of product and ensures materials meet production specifications.
