Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services, Inc. is seeking a maintenance/mechanic support specialist focused on Combatant Craft systems. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting of diesel and gasoline engines, propulsion, and hydraulic/electrical subsystems in a Virginia Beach location.

The role requires experience with MTU components, welding basics, and the ability to work in shipyard and workshop settings, with security clearance and U.S. citizenship per contract.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing diesel and gasoline engines, chassis, and lubricating systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics and repair support for diesel engines, MTU propulsion systems, and related subsystems.
• Advise Government on CCM maintenance and preventative measures.
• Troubleshoot and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems.
