Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced General Manager in Columbus, OH to drive revenue growth and manage the branch P&L across departments. This role sets the safety culture, work ethic, professionalism, and ownership expectations while leading a team to exceed business goals.

The position requires guiding operations, financial performance, and sales activities, with a focus on customer retention and contract management. Travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods within the elevator industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven success managing and developing talent within the workforce.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department managers and superintendents; provide direction and training and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead safety program, conduct safety audits, and chair the branch safety committee.
• Uphold strong customer service culture and monitor NPS and customer care.
• Ensure daily operations meet efficiency, cost targets, and margin goals across lines of business (excluding New Installation).
• Manage P&L and budgeting; present yearly budget and drive profitability.
• Oversee sales interactions: client meetings, proposals, and CRM usage to drive revenue.
• Retain service contracts and manage at-risk accounts; support retention programs.
