Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior-level Litigation Partner in Columbus, OH. The role targets experienced attorneys with a robust background in personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, insurance coverage, and bad faith, capable of independently managing high-volume caseloads and driving efficient resolutions.

Qualified candidates will hold a JD and be licensed to practice in Ohio, with 10+ years of litigation experience and demonstrated negotiation and strategic skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of litigation experience in personal injury, MVAs, insurance coverage, and related matters.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload and move cases toward resolution.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sound judgment and the ability to efficiently evaluate and prioritize matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury, MVAs, insurance coverage, bad faith, general casualty, appeals, and more.
• Evaluate claims, liability, damages, medical records, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee case strategy, negotiations, settlement discussions, and resolution of less complex matters.
• Manage case deadlines, client communications, and day-to-day case progression.
• Work collaboratively with firm leadership and colleagues to ensure efficient, high-quality legal representation.
• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating matters and determining appropriate next steps.
