Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks a Test Engineer to support the performance and administration of the SWS test program for the Columbia Class. The role involves developing test planning, issuing addendums, and certifying procedures across multiple hulls while coordinating with Planning, Engineering, and EB Trades.

The candidate will maintain test documentation, review TIRs and CSD/TPD materials, and support development of the SWS Test Program. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the listed qualifications or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance (CAC).
• Experience with formal certification processes or test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate test documentation for multiple hulls per program goals.
• Maintain long-range test schedules and align Artemis timelines with the test playbook.
• Assist in test execution and ensure TDs approve procedures for conduct.
• Review Test Inspection Reports and associated test documentation.
• Collaborate with planning, engineering, and trades to align test activities with construction.
