Job summary
Barry Isett & Associates Inc. is looking for a licensed Geotechnical Engineer to manage projects in their new Columbia office. This role requires a BSCE, and preference is given to candidates with an MS in Geotechnical Engineering and PE or PG registration. Responsibilities include preparing technical documents, conducting field inspections, and overseeing foundation designs. Qualifications
Minimum of seven years’ field experience in industry, environmental consulting, or a regulatory environment.
Ability to obtain PA Act 34, 114, and 151 Clearances.
Current, valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
Preparing proposals, technical reports, specifications, and plans.
Performing field inspections of geotechnical and foundation projects.
Designing foundations and other geotechnical aspects of construction.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

Education
BSCE required
MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
