Compensation at Madison Reed is competitive, including base hourly pay, commission, and tips. In New York, Colorists can earn between $28.50 and $43.50 per hour, with an average of $36.50. Actual pay depends on performance, tenure, hours, and other factors.
This role reports to the Manager and can be full or part-time, depending on business needs. Availability during peak times is required to serve guests effectively.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, twisting, manipulating fingers/hands, reaching, and lifting up to ten pounds are regularly required. Occasionally, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and moving heavier weights may be necessary. Communication with guests occurs throughout the workday.
