Job summary

Care New England's Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI, seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to join our surgical team. This inpatient/outpatient role offers a collaborative, team-based environment with opportunities for first assist, rounding, and procedural duties.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited PA program, NCCPA certified, and licensed in Rhode Island (or eligible). Surgical specialty experience preferred; Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certified by NCCPA.
• Active Rhode Island PA license or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Surgical first assist in the colorectal/surgical specialty.
• Inpatient rounding on surgical patients.
• Consultation evaluation and procedures related to surgical care.
• Outpatient office visits for surgical patients.
