Job summary

Care New England's Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI, seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to join our surgical team. This inpatient/outpatient role offers a collaborative, team-based environment with opportunities for first assist, rounding, and procedural duties.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited PA program, NCCPA certified, and licensed in Rhode Island (or eligible). Surgical specialty experience preferred; Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Kent Hospital, an affiliate of Care New England, is seeking a full time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our robust surgical team in Warwick, Rhode Island. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care. • Full-time, Monday through Friday daytime schedule


• Be part of our inpatient/surgical and outpatient APC team to support the surgical department with duties including:

  • inpatient rounding
  
  
  • consultation evaluation and procedures
  
  
  • outpatient office visits
  
  
  
  

• Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP)


• Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers

Requirements
