Job Summary

Kent Hospital, an affiliate of Care New England, is seeking a full time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our robust surgical team in Warwick, Rhode Island. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.

• Full-time, Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Be part of our inpatient/surgical and outpatient APC team to support the surgical department with duties including:
• surgical first assist
• inpatient rounding
• consultation evaluation and procedures
• outpatient office visits
• Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP)
• Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certified by NCCPA.
• Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
• Colorectal surgery or surgical specialty experience preferred
