MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Colorectal Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Surgery. You will see pre- and post-surgical patients in the office, communicate with patients, and maintain thorough documentation with support from the team.

The role is Monday–Friday, full-time (1.0 FTE), with holidays and after-hours not required. New grads are welcome to apply, and Maryland/DC licenses are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• CPR certification.
• Eligible for Maryland and DC licenses.

Responsabilités

• See pre- and post-surgical patients in the office.
• Communicate with patients and coordinate care.
• Document thoroughly and work autonomously when needed while staying connected with physicians.
