Job summary

A well-established healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana seeks a full-time Colorectal Surgeon to join its Hobart, IN team. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with a 1:6 call rotation and a tech-forward environment prioritizing physician well-being.

Candidates must be board certified/eligible with Indiana license/CSR, with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation experience. Relocation support, competitive package, and sign-on options are available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible with a plan to certify.
• Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with specialists.
• Open to H-1B applicants with Indiana license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
• See approximately 20 clinic patients per day.
• Participate in a 1:6 call rotation.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide post-operative follow-up care and outcome tracking.
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques including DaVinci robotic surgery.
• Perform colonoscopies and endoscopies for screenings.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions.
