Job summary

SPG seeks a full-time Gastroenterologist for our Hobart, IN practice. You will provide diagnostic and therapeutic GI care, performing endoscopic procedures in both outpatient and hospital settings, while coordinating longitudinal care for chronic liver and GI conditions.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Open to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• See 20-30 clinic patients per day and 10-15 hospital patients per day.
• Participate in a 1:7 call rotation.
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings.
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice and coordinate longitudinal care for chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams for integrated treatment plans and screenings.

Overview

A well-established and expanding healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist. The organization prioritizes physician well-being and sustainable work-life balance, and is recognized as one of the few HIMSS Stage VII facilities in the country. This position is based in Hobart, IN, and offers relocation assistance.

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
• See 20-30 clinic patients per day and 10-15 hospital patients per day
• Participate in a 1:7 call rotation
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
• Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings

Compensation and benefits

• $450k-$615k per year (highly competitive, negotiable, aligned with MGMA guidelines)
• Full-time, Monday-Friday, flexible schedule
