Job Summary: Responsible for direct patient care by reviewing patient's medical history, collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Provides education, consultation, or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families.
Key Position Details:
Allina Health is opening this new 1.0 FTE Colorectal Surgery position due to growth in the Oncology Service Line and surgical volume. Locations include United Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and associated clinics. Expected call rotation involves participating in surgical oncology or general surgery call (less than 1 in 4).
Schedule: 5 8-hour shifts per week, including 2 clinic days, 1 OR day (either day scopes + day of OR or full day scopes), and 1 admin day per week.
Cases include colorectal cancer, benign conditions, screening colonoscopy, and diagnostic endoscopy.

Physical Demands: Medium work; lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.
Pay Range: $430,000 to $475,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and union status.
