Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc. is a Colorado-based engineering and environmental sciences consulting firm seeking a Colorado Water Resource Engineering Leader to guide water rights engineering projects and expand the Colorado market.

The role focuses on leading technical delivery, building client relationships, and growing the book of business across the Rocky Mountain region, with collaboration across EKI’s national platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in water resources engineering, with 8+ years in Colorado
• Master's degree and Professional Registration, or 12+ years of experience where registration is not available
• Knowledge of water rights frameworks, surface water modeling, water resources planning and data visualization

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow EKI’s Colorado water rights engineering and related water resources services
• Grow a book of business for water resource engineering in Colorado and Rocky Mountain markets
• Develop long-term relationships with core clients
• Lead competitive pursuits with marketing team
• Develop and manage a team to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Prepare technical memorandums, reports, and expert analyses
• Communicate complex technical problems through effective presentations
