Job summary

Minga Education Group in Colorado is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide high‑quality instruction, case management, and related services for PK–12 students with disabilities. You will align supports with IEPs and collaborate with school teams, families, and service providers to ensure compliant, student‑centered programming.

Applicants should hold a current Colorado teaching license with a Special Education endorsement or be eligible, with a preference for a Master’s in Special

Qualifications

• Current Colorado teaching license, TEE, Alt, or Special Education endorsement required.
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful special education experience in PK–12 settings preferred.
• Experience with IEPs, MTSS/RTI, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction aligned with IEP goals and evidence-based practices.
• Develop differentiated lessons with accommodations and modifications.
• Deliver services across push-in, pull-out, co-teaching, and small group settings.
• Monitor student progress using valid tools and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Support students' behavioral, social-emotional, and executive-functioning needs.
• Serve as IEP case manager for assigned students and draft required documentation.
• Coordinate IEP meetings with clarity, professionalism, and cultural responsiveness.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and instructional plans.
• Maintain service logs and compliance documentation in district systems.
