Job summary

Kanner & Pintaluga seeks a skilled attorney with significant experience in first-party homeowner property claims to join our Colorado team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record representing homeowners against insurance companies across hail, wind, fire, and other perils in Colorado courts.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, litigate complex issues, and advocate for homeowners' rights throughout Colorado while collaborating with paralegals

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience in first-party property claims.
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado (Colorado Bar in good standing).
• Experience managing a caseload of homeowner property insurance claims.
• Strong legal research and analysis skills.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other documents; taking depositions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of first-party homeowner property insurance claims from inception to resolution.
• Represent clients in court, including trials and hearings, as needed.
• Negotiate settlements, participate in mediation/arbitration.
• Provide regular client updates and strategic explanations of legal options.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys; stay updated on Colorado insurance law.
