The State of Colorado seeks a CIO and Executive Director for the Governor’s Office of Information Technology to serve as the technology advisor to the Governor and Cabinet. You will lead budgeting, strategy, and program delivery while advancing secure, innovative enterprise IT across departments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with legislators, state agencies, and vendors, and requires a proven ability to guide large-scale projects and drive digital government initiatives.

Formación

• Five or more years of executive-level leadership in a large IT organization.
• Experience developing strategic plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and legislators.
• Track record leading complex technology projects and cybersecurity programs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Governor’s Office of Information Technology with strategic direction and financial oversight.
• Build relationships with stakeholders including Governor, Cabinet, agencies, and vendors.
• Oversee budget, programs, and alignment with the office’s mission and objectives.
• Promote statewide technology standards and secure, modern IT infrastructure.
• Drive innovation and responsible use of AI to improve government operations.
