Job summary

The North Face in Denver is seeking an Associate Developer, Color, to translate seasonal creative vision into executable color across apparel, equipment, and accessories. You will drive color accuracy, maintain critical standards, and keep milestones on track as products move from concept to market.

This role blends Creative Color, Design, Materials, Product Development, Merchandising, and our global partners.

Qualifications

• Foundational color development knowledge and familiarity with apparel materials and textiles.
• High color perception (color vision).
• Intermediate computer proficiency; familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe tools, databases, and PLM systems.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
• Proactive in identifying root causes and pursuing right solutions with a values-driven approach.
• High agility and adaptability.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to organize color information and communicate updates.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Color team with seasonal color coordination tasks across apparel, equipment, and accessories.
• Input and maintain accurate color data, naming, codes, and seasonal information in PLM and related systems.
• Organize physical and digital color tools, including standards, palette boards, sample references, and seasonal libraries.
• Assist with new wash library creation.
• Partner with Creative Color, Design, Materials, Product Development, and Merchandising teams to support clear communication and accurate handoffs.
• Support seasonal tracking and reporting to support color accuracy, calendar awareness, and process improvements.
• Help coordinate color standards, lab dips, strike-offs, artwork, and related submits with internal teams and suppliers as needed.
