Job summary

Jiffy is seeking a Product Quality Engineer specializing in digital printing to drive excellence across our custom apparel catalog and distributed printer network. You will define color management standards, establish reference materials, and lead quality improvement initiatives across partners to ensure color accuracy, durability, and print quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Color Science, Print Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in print quality engineering or color management.
• Hands-on ICC profiling workflows and spectrophotometric measurement.
• Experience with RIP software such as Onyx, NeoStampa, or Print Factory.
• Expert knowledge of color space management for production printing.
• Experience managing quality programs across a distributed network of print partners.
• Authorized to work in the United States; willingness to travel ~40%.
• Preferred: Irvine, CA with hybrid in-office 3 days/week; up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end product quality program for DTF printing and catalogs.
• Define color management standards across the printer network and calibrations.
• Set quality specs and acceptance criteria for color, durability, and substrates.
• Provide technical guidance to Operations, Supplier Management and Product teams.
• Lead audits of print partners and maintain a quality health scorecard.
• Develop dashboards, training materials, and SOPs to improve pre-press workflows.
