Job summary

Jiffy is seeking a Product Quality Engineer specializing in digital printing to elevate color accuracy and durability across our direct-to-film printing ops and apparel catalog.

You will lead color management initiatives, set standards, and work with Operations, Supplier Management, and Product teams to deliver high-quality printed products. Hybrid Irvine, CA; travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and 5+ years in print quality or prepress
• Experience with ICC profiling workflows and spectrophotometric measurement
• Deep knowledge of CMYK, color spaces, device-link profiles, and soft-proofing

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end product quality program for DTF printing and apparel catalog.
• Define and enforce color management standards across printer network; manage ICC profiles and RIP configurations.
• Establish hue-level standards; serve as SME for CMYK processing, gamut mapping, and device-link profiles.
• Set quality specs and acceptance criteria for color accuracy, durability, substrates, and press-ready files.
• Provide guidance to Operations, Suppliers, and Product teams; set quality gates for launches.
• Track quality across distributed print partners; conduct audits and drive corrective actions.
• Set onboarding standards for new printers; document baselines and run hands-on evaluations.
• Lead improvements using claims, NPS, audits; build dashboards and training materials.
