Job summary

Ampacet-Corporation seeks a Quality Control Technician to performAmpacet’s test methods on finished products and raw materials, ensuring conformity to customer and internal specs. You will maintain accurate data, visually inspect products, and adjust formulations for color and ash, while following safety policies.

The role includes supporting other lab staff and handling additional duties as assigned. Second shift runs from 3 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to demonstrate good math skills.
• Ability to distinguish color.
• Must interact with all departments within the organization.
• Experience in Excel is preferred.
• Must pass Ampacet’s math and color test for consideration.
• Must maintain confidentiality with proprietary formulations.

Responsibilities

• Testing and inspection of finished goods and raw materials.
• Keeping accurate legible records of test data and information related to quality.
• Visual examination of the finished product to ensure quality standards.
• Making adjustments to the formulation to obtain proper color and ash.
• Working safely and adhering to all laboratory and plant safety policies.
• Assisting other laboratory personnel when time permits.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
