Job summary

WorldBridge Partners' client, a leading manufacturer of plastic color and additive masterbatches, seeks a Technical Service & Development Engineer II to support sales and innovation. You will identify opportunities, troubleshoot, and collaborate with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing and Quality to deliver high-performing color solutions.

You will lead product development efforts, coordinate tests, and provide technical guidance on selection, performance, and processing across target markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemistry, engineering, or polymer science.
• 5+ years in plastics color or additive concentrate/compound, in technical service or product development.
• Hands-on experience with twin-screw processing and lab equipment.
• Familiarity with rotational molding, blow molding, and injection molding.
• Strong knowledge of polymer processing, pigments, additives, and structure–property–processing relationships.
• Analytical problem solving using data, testing results and engineering judgment.
• Technical communication translating complex concepts for customers and teams.
• Learning agility to rapidly acquire new technical knowledge and market insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-focused innovation and new product development across targeted markets.
• Partner with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality to develop, optimize, and commercialize masterbatch solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot processing and product performance issues with remote and on-site support.
• Coordinate and interpret analytical and physical testing through labs and partners.
• Lead and support internal and customer product trials, ensuring execution and evaluation.
