Würth Wood Group in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Color Lab Technician (Tint Specialist) to produce accurate color matches for custom cabinetry finishes. You will learn color development, use tinting equipment, and collaborate with Operations and Sales to resolve color issues.

The role welcomes newcomers with tinting or paint-matching experience and emphasizes attention to color detail, reliability, and willingness to learn. Training provided in color development and finishing products.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with paint tinting, color matching, stains, coatings, or finishing products is preferred but not required.
• Candidates from home improvement or hardware environments are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to distinguish subtle differences in color, tone, shade, and finish.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3–6 custom color matches per day with remixes as needed.
• Mix and match stains, lacquers, and finishing products to specs.
• Maintain color accuracy across repeat orders and formulations.
• Use Corob tint dispensing system and record formulations.
• Utilize a spectrophotometer when appropriate for color development and matching.
• Maintain tinting equipment and keep lab organized and safe.
