Job summary

IPS Adhesives is seeking a lab technician to weigh colorants with precision, prepare samples and conduct color testing under general supervision. You will generate batch data, document results and support QC in evaluating materials for ISO 9001 compliance.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and participation in Lean/continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing lab setting.

Qualifications

• Color vision verified by Farnsworth MMS 100 hue test.
• Knowledge or experience in polymers and/or color preferred.
• Prior related industrial lab experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Precisely weighs colorants to a +/-0.01 gram accuracy.
• Creates pigment blends from formulation to improve quality, cost or environmental compliance.
• Operates and tends equipment for generating batch results; decides pass/fail for processing.
