Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Technician to support paint testing, color development, and brand color validation activities. The role includes performing routine laboratory tests, documenting data, and maintaining test equipment for color development programs such as Dynamic Blue and SSP.

You will prepare paint panels, operate spectrophotometer and environmental test equipment, and ensure timely progress through project tracking and supplier follow-up.

Qualifications

• Supports paint testing and color development activities.
• Performs routine laboratory tests and documents data.
• Maintains test equipment and records for color standards programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paint panels and samples for testing.
• Operate laboratory test equipment under supervision.
• Perform tests for color, gloss, adhesion, corrosion, humidity and other attributes.
• Record and organize test data in lab systems.
• Monitor ongoing tests and document deviations.
• Track color standard requests and update project status.
• Send weekly color status updates to cross functional teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers on sample timelines.
• Update project tracking forms with deadlines.
• Maintain organized communications and test data records.
• Send instructional emails for paint development workflows.
• Assist with scheduling workload items and test queues.
