Join to apply for the Color Lab Technician - 2nd Shift role at PPG.

As a Color Lab Technician, you will prepare color samples for evaluation and formulation to support the Refinish Color Matching team. Reporting directly to the Color Lab Supervisor in our Delaware, Ohio Plant, your primary responsibilities will include mixing wet paint, reducing/spraying paint samples, and general prep and cleanup of lab areas.

This is a 2nd shift position with a schedule of 2:00pm-10:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixing and spraying functions to meet production demands.
• Acquire color formulations from the Color Matcher & prepare sample mixtures based on provided paint formulations/recipes.
• Ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of color lab paint samples.
• Acquire wet paint samples from mixing stations & spray samples according to predefined specifications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in clean condition. PPE includes safety shoes (steel toe); all other PPE will be supplied. The contractor will be fitted for a respirator and must be clean-shaven on the first day.

• 1+ years of lab experience.
