Job summary

PIM Brands is seeking a Manufacturing Prep Associate to support the Somerset, NJ site. You will prepare, label, and track color and flavor solutions used in production, weigh solutions, maintain records, and support daily inventories.

You will calibrate equipment, monitor room conditions, and ensure timely delivery to production lines in a GMP environment. You will also inspect returned materials, maintain container cleanliness, and enter data into SAP, with a 1st shift from 7AM to 3PM and

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent (strongly preferred). Associate degree preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience and knowledge of batching preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• High degree of accuracy in performing lab analysis.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Basic math and computer skills preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and pallets.
• Move products to designated storage areas.
• Weigh color solutions and label pails with item name, lot number, and pounds.
• Weigh flavor solutions based on production schedule.
• Track quantities of solutions and flavors issued.
• Make up pallets and deliver as needed for two shifts.
• Record all color and flavor data in checks and SAP.
• Follow GMP rules and monitor colleagues for GMP adherence.
• Inspect and disposition flavor/color pails returned from Moguls.
• Calibrate scales daily.
• Track temperature in flavor room daily.
• Perform weekly inventory of dyes, color solutions, and flavors.
• Enter SAP data for issued and returned quantities.
