Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a proactive laboratory-focused professional to support the Performance Coatings Group (PCG) database, color matching, and color standard testing. You will work with chemists and technicians to build and validate product configurations, maintain colorant curves, and document results for internal and external PCG customers.

The role requires a High School Diploma, at least 6 months of lab experience, and basic MS 365 skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6 months of lab experience.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Works with other technicians or chemists to build, evaluate, and maintain product configuration and database work, including letdown samples and colorant curves.
• Demonstrate an understanding of color science principles.
• Accurate documentation and presentation of lab results and technical information.
• Collaborate effectively with others on assigned projects.
• Outline and perform tasks to achieve objectives with infrequent progress reviews.
• Maintain safe operating procedures and lab safety rules.
