Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Waco, TX is hiring a Production Operator - Blender to prepare customer orders by blending, tinting and mixing pigments to meet specifications, and to document work orders and formulas. Location: 424 Peach Street, Waco, TX 76704.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 hourly. You will handle heavy machinery and maintain color-matching equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Experience blending or mixing raw materials in an industrial batch process preferred.
• Experience with tinting or color matching equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders including blending, adjusting, filling, and labeling batches.
• Operate tinting/mixing and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Make shade and gloss adjustments to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure quality and service expectations are met.
• Perform inventory controls and maintain high quality standards.
• Keep tools, equipment and work area clean and organized daily.
• Maintain production records and reporting as required.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and security policies.
• Adhere to quality service standards and procedures.
