Job summary

The Production Operator - Blender at Sherwin-Williams in Milwaukee, WI blends customer orders, prepares paint blends, and records formulas to ensure accuracy across batches.

You will operate tinting and mixing equipment, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety and quality procedures while meeting production targets on a Monday–Friday schedule. This role requires strength and reliability in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders, including blending, adjusting, filling, and labeling batches.
• Operate tinting and mixing equipment and material handling equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
• Make shade and gloss adjustments to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure customers’ quality and service expectations are met.
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized daily.
• Maintain production records and reporting as required.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
