BodyWorks by Murray Motors / BMW of Denver Downtown, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking a Collision Mechanic in Denver, CO. You will perform mechanical repairs and inspections on collision-damaged vehicles, ensuring safe, accurate work to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional automotive technician experience; collision/body shop experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues accurately and efficiently.
• ASE or I-CAR certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain components on collision-damaged vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for hidden mechanical damage and identify additional repairs needed.
• Remove, replace, and reinstall mechanical components as required for collision repairs.
• Perform diagnostic testing using scan tools and other automotive equipment.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership quality and safety standards.
• Document completed repairs and communicate additional repair needs to the Body Shop Manager or appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while completing repairs efficiently and accurately.
