Job summary

#1 Cochran's North Huntington Body by Cochran Collision Center is seeking an experienced Collision Technician to join our growing team. This on-site role focuses on repairing vehicles per estimates, sourcing proper parts, and preparing cars for body work while upholding our standards.

Qualifications

• One or more years related experience as a collision repair technician.
• ICAR or ASE certifications in auto body repair is a plus.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicles including body work and when to replace or repair parts.
• Ability to read and follow instructions on repair/estimate orders required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
• Check parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies management of any additional repairs needed and documents parts and labor.
• Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job or change in promised time.
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with #1 Cochran's values in interactions with customers, team members and vendors.
