Job summary

Archie Cochrane Motors, Inc. is hiring a certified automotive technician to repair and service vehicles in a fast-paced, safety-conscious shop. The role requires Ford certification or eligibility, and preferences include ASE certification and prior Ford dealership experience.

You will collaborate with the body shop and parts departments, document all work, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety while ensuring compliant disposal of hazardous waste.

Qualifications

• Ford certification required or pursued.
• Experience in a Ford dealership is preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Past dealership experience required.
• Past collision center experience is required.
• Vocational program preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts.
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Document all repairs performed.
• Document all materials used.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste.
