Job summary

Whaling-City Auto Group is seeking a Collision Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has body shop experience and a solid background in collision centers, repairing damaged parts and coordinating with the parts department to secure needed items.

You will document all repairs and materials, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and communicate progress to the body shop manager. Ford dealership culture emphasizes service and growth within a trusted brand.

Qualifications

• Past collision center experience required.
• Ford dealership experience is a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Vocational program completion preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts.
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Document all repairs performed.
• Document all materials used.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as disposal of hazardous waste.
